Assassin creed 3 save game location theta

And i had to reformat so i just backed the entire game folder up. But now it occurs to me that it could have been in "My Documents". Thanks in advance. Please give me good news or a save file that gets me passed the VERY beginning of the game lol its soooo long and annoyign.

Ok it showed up after i posted this But thanks really sucks though BobT36 posted I effing hate it when games store their save files allover the place or in stupid places like the application data folder. Another thing that annoys me is games that spout a load of crap into the my documents folder, such as saving replays and logs and so on.

All game related files should be in their own folder within program files, and only anywhere else if its absolutely critical, thatd prevent anyone from losing savegames or getting annoyed at random crap being spouted into folders where it should not be. I hear ya. I don't really understand why they don't just put gamesaves in the game installation directory.

I can't even find a save folder or file. I already started the game 10x and did the complete first mission but nothing, no save, no nothing. This is really frustrating. Why this game is so crappy?
