Is she anorexic or what? So far the acting from all have been outstanding esp. Song Seung Hun and all the kids. He looks better with his hair combed up kekeke. Nice love story of him with Lee Yeon Hee and very disappointed that he will die at the end…. Huh… just completed 24 episodes. I was struggling while watching it Really having a tough time, sometimes I dozed off, sometimes I fast forward. For me this drama failed big, big time!. It was the most boring anticipated korean drama ever.
I was practically laughing when at the part when we were supposed to feel sad. Plus DW expression was stupid. The love story between DC and Grace evolved not as convincingly as it should be. What a waste of time!! It was highly charged indeed…but hhmm. I think I wont watch anymore the rest of th episodes. Hate it when they were together. I feel cheated by the MBC production when at first they announced LDH as the lead female actor but end up with just a supporting role.
They are not honest in their campaign. I wonder whether this is a common practise of the Korean products? Will they be like this drama, i. Promised one thing, but deliver a different thing?? I think he is one of the promising actor other than Song Il gook. Plus I think Lee Da hae is too old for him. LYH just perfect for him. I think she is cute. Rubbish they have chemistry!.. Even Dong Wook dump her why should Dong Chul to be with her.
Bravo Mr Director. One more thing who said Dong Chul did not show any feelings towards Young Ran. It is clearly shown in the drama why he has to reject her in the first place.
I want to watch it again. I agree Dong Chul should have stayed alive at the end after all the sacrificing. Dong Wook should die! Okay, okay SSH can acts, BUT at time he seems a bit over and about the tears, most of the time…it was a no show, no matter how much he seems forcing himself to make them come out naturally, unlike other actors such as Kwan So Woo, Lee Jun Ki etc.
Well my dear Maszy, this is my answer: 1. Just click at their name and look for the birth and do your math!! Who do you think will be the first to living on this earth? LYH is Cute??? Up to you. But unfortunately LYH is neither!!. The reason…. Even if it is a small role, a good actor will surely be able to attract your grey matter to remember. To those who think this is just a typical korean drama then dont watch them…. I give full support to the new coming actors and actresses.
LYH will make a good actress. Her character as Young Ran really suits her. She is so blunt and confident. Looking forward to see her with SSH in the future again. But this time Mr Director please make it a happy ending one. Han Ji Hye is okay. No comment. Too bad if you dont like LYH. Oh by the way.. I have stopped watching after 24 episodes. This drama really suck!!. Good luck and happy watching for those who wants to watch it again.
I think she can be partnered with any other characters, be them male or female, young or old. U know why? What can I say.. There you go….. I like that…ok settle now…. Maszy sweetie. Thanks for the warning!. What a pity… i remember first time watching SSH.. He was in the movie called Calla. He was brilliant then…love him, and since then calla has became one of my favourite flower. Then came Autumn Tale. Then Summer Scent. He looked ridiculous with blonde hair.
Then this EOE which I find very boring indeed and will not watching it anymore after 24 episodes!!. Almost superb drama, if not for the heroine part. Wrong casting again. But Lee Jun Ki was so adorable. MsCarla agreed he look funny with blonde hair…but he look gorgeous though in EOE despite his mess up face all the bruises. Anyway I have other favourite actor as well Song Il Gook. The famous Jumong n now Kingdom of the winds.
I like Han Hye Jin as So seo no but not the one in Kingdom of the winds forgot her name already very weak. I put off when I see the heroine. I stopped didnot finish the episode. Lee Jun ki looks so manly in that drama but not in Iljimae. Very childish. Winter Sonata is very famous but surprisingly I never watch it. The heroine I think not so pretty. Well not for me to comment. He is one of my ultimate fav. As for Wnter Sonata.. I even try eat Kimchi and learn how to make koraen themand also Korean pancake.
Will visit Korea one day. I have finished watching Kingdom of the winds…. But Jumong is alot better. Emperor of the sea is also a very good story line. But everyone died at the end…. Miss Jung Hwa is so heartless. I hate her character. Yeom Moon is great Song Il gook. Had tried mysoju. It is really really good. For me WS is the gold standard of K-Drama.
It has everything…the music, beautiful and haunting. Good looking actors and hey they can act! The scenery…tranquilizing. Good casting ad directing. What else.. Continuum episodes, not choppy or dragging like EOE. Sorry Maszy, but really.. EOE has this efect on me…It can triggers the snoze button in my brain to dozed off only after watching it for a few mins. If ever I have insomnia, i think EOE is the perfect medication.
Anyway I have been watching loads of K-dramas and K-movies. Some were entertaining and some bored me to death. Agreed EOTS dont know why the director chose him. Maybe he can act. In every way. Sorry to say. I think my friend here has the DVD. Will ask her someday. Not sure the hero. He looks a bit old for her. Bythe way for me I like a combination of violence n romance. I must admit EOE the first part is long and dragging. But I can bear that.
I have not seen it. Cant find the Dvd. Enjoy uor EOTS. He looks so great in that movie. I like the sound track too. I have not watch Snow Queen yet. Others will b Shining Inheritance and Queen of Housewife. You mentioned Terror and Frozen Flower… I should check on them. I was mesmerized by him.. WS was a production, not that old. There are few male actors that I find a bit irritating.. My fren said stairway to heaven is also good. The girl is in WS. Did you finish EOTS? Ohh of course Stairway to Heaven….
I thought you had watched it. My friend became a big fan of Kwan Sang Woo because of this drama. She watched it from evening till almost morning next day with boxes of tissue paper. He is such a superb actor indeed. I have other friend who had watched WS more than perhaps 30 times??
They were really famous few years back, or still are. Curently i am watching Time between Dog and Wolf.. Post no says so.. I could have love this drama if not for LYH. He is actually the hero…the emperor of the sea, not the bad looking Jang.. Many episode more to go. About EOTS so far….
I support and applaud Yeom Moon all the way. To me to be a leader in the military set up like that, he must shows certain qualities and credibilty to his subordinates. He just want to control his men and influence them to accomplish their task.
The 2 deserters ought to be killed to show example to others that he is serious in carrying out his duty. How I hope Lady Hwa will change her heart to him, but all that for Jang?
For arezou…what to do LYH is chosen for the main character. For Poohs.. As he said to his uncle Cheng.. Hye rin character just stopped half way the episodes. She went to Washington. Ms Carla I have not watched WS yet. He looks so great in his armour. Maszy dear.. But I might not meeting you there. For me SIG is the actual hero.
Perhaps I have an evil heart for always looking forward to his scense and cheer him and his loyal aids at whatever they do. They are not bad people. They became like that because of the circumstances. My heart break to see his sadness. Yum Moon potrays a heroic character indeed. He has the regal look and the qualities…kind, loyal, tough, formidable, cool, romantic, commanding, honest, just, principled, upstanding etc. So he should have that enslavement aura in him. Anyway, how I wish this drama focused more on noble Yum Moon rather than the slave Jang…and I always have Jumong to indulge me with and also the coming Kingdom Wind thing….
Good…you enjoy it and I agree with your comments. Until the end…Yeom Moon is admirable. I just hate the very last part in which Jung Hwa on the ship. The same goes with Me when Hi Jin died I didnt feel sad or anything. Yeom Moon is not that easy to be defeated. I like her though. Dont worry she doesnt like EOE and she said she will not watch it anymore. She stopped after 24 episodes only. By the way have you finish watching it? Although the ending is sad. I dont like the ending too.

All the awards r well-deserved, Way to go MBC. I saw there was picture of Dong Chul and Young Ran as well in it. Please tell me…. The starting point is good but from the climax to the ending is too bad. I regret watching!!! The end doesnt justify the means. I have just started to view the DVD that I have of this drama and so far it is very interesting!
